The work that I'm presenting is the fruit of different journeys, just like my life. I grew up with different cultural role models, being an Italo-Venezuelan. I'm not Italian and I'm not Venezuelan, I am both. This was the hardest thing to understand in my artistic development. I have chosen the better of the different cultures or at least I have tried to. I am particularly interested in research on the roots of tattooing in tribal cultures. My ancestors were indigenous Venezuelans, they were tattooed with piercings, so for me, body modification is a way to continue the traditions of my family.
